how we started!

Brian Gangloff, President of DataAct, founded the company in 1997.  DataAct has rapidly grown since developing benchmark Fixture Control Software for a Rochester area Fortune 500 client.  Our unparalleled ability to develop innovative and scalable real time control applications on time and within budget has made us a valuable asset to our clients.

Brian has worked diligently to assemble a highly educated and technical staff that is willing to accept the challenges of a dynamic, fast paced atmosphere.  Our close-knit staff is responsible for the growth of DataAct and the satisfaction of our clients.

Brian Gangloff, President

Brian was a mechanical engineer specializing in new product development at Xerox for nine years prior to launching DataAct.  Brian has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science degree in Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology.  A life long resident of the Rochester area, Brian looks forward to growing his business and being a technology leader in the area for many years to come.

Brian has used LabVIEW since 1990 and is a Certified LabVIEW Developer.
